Rollout rows show two things: the model took the developer-undesired action · it complied | 📄 it saw the value-bearing note · 📄 it never saw the note (only under tool delivery; a null result there is non-reading, not non-susceptibility).
Conditions: baseline mundane note = floor · payload the value as a prior-instance note = the effect · value_injected value in the system prompt = ceiling · payload_neutral control.
Rollouts compares single instances (hit ⇆ compare note vs no-note to put payload beside baseline for the same setting+model — the gap in “% undesired” is the effect). Lineages follows a value across generations: the overview track shows the note growing (bars) and behaviour emerging (red cells); scroll the cards to read the note being inherited, reasoned about, and passed on.
